THE PROPERTY
Our family purchased the Manzanita school house in 2018. We're honored to be the current stewards of this historic property. We are originally from Portland and have been coming to the Oregon Coast for decades. Manzanita has been our favorite spot since the early 1970s and we have owned property here for nearly 15 years.
We use the house as a place to gather with family and friends, and we're happy to have the opportunity to share it with you. We also occasionally make the property available for community activities.
Built in 1928 and originally known as the Pine Grove School, the building served as the primary school for the community until almost 1950. A number of former students continue to reside in the community. Over the past 70 years, it has been home to generations of families that helped make Manzanita what it is today.
Over the past 15 years, the property was owned by a family that took great care of it. We are committed to continuing this legacy.

We are licensed by Tillamook County as a 'Short-Term Vacation Rental', permit #851-19-000052-STVR. All guests are required to follow property guidelines and abide by all applicable regulations, as well as the Good Neighbor Policy, posted inside the property
